There’s a mind-boggling array of great ideas and self-improvement systems available to us today. Yet, I hear from so many of you that you cannot defeat the habits, thoughts and behaviors that hold you in negative emotional loops by listening to podcasts or attending workshops. I’m all for on-line courses and self-help books, but these resources, by themselves, don't lead us to lasting relief.
 
Having an ally to support you is critical to developing clarity, maturity and true freedom. Nothing can replace our work with a consistent and trusted partner: when it's right, this attuned relationship creates the safety we need to finally break down the habitual patterns that make us so frustrated, hopeless or unhappy.

But why is it so hard to change on our own?  These old emotional strategies are not conscious or intentional, and, to make matters worse they are sneaky, sticky and stubborn! We find ourselves deploying these defensive techniques in our relationships at home, at work and at play before we even know it. As we gain experience in life, we realize that these long-standing reflexive habits of heart and mind don't relieve us of depression, anxiety and overwhelm. ... they actually create the slippery slope ;-/

Most of us need help to discover, explore and to safely dismantle our involuntary emotional structures. We need clear navigational direction and honest feedback to move beyond our programmed reactions -- forward, to reclaim our power, spaciousness, strength, internal value and joy.
 
I've seen what a difference an alive and dedicated relationship has made in the lives of hundreds of students and clients who are seeking real change.
